The Easiest Trade of Our Generation

This might be the easiest trade of our generation.

It’s like betting on the sun to rise… or politicians to lie. It’s gonna happen, sweetheart.

If it doesn’t, that means something went seriously wrong.

This week, longtime swamp dweller John Kerry is joining the world’s bougie elite in Davos, where they’re pretending they care about the world more than their wealth.

Washington’s Everyman said we’ll most certainly get to the no-carbon utopia he and Greta Thunberg are jetting around the globe to discuss.

Great news, right?

We’ll all be saved!

Nah, no politician would ever set the people free. They merely tease the public with the idea.

As Kerry said at Davos…

“I am not convinced we’re going to get there in time to do what the scientists said, which is avoid the worst consequences of the crisis.”

Dang it. We’re all still gonna die.

There’s got to be a solution. If only the same organization that brought us the USPS, Amtrak, government cheese and [enter name of latest indicted politician here] could swoop in and save us.

That’d cool things off.

Mr. Kerry, can you help us, we ask.

Soitently, he says, looking around to see if any of the other stooges want to pitch in.

“So how do we get there? Well, the lesson I’ve learned in the last years and I learned it as secretary [of State] and I’ve learned it since, reinforced in spades, is: money, money, money, money, money, money, money.”

You won’t believe this, but a man who spent his whole career checking all the boxes that Washington has to offer wants to toss money at yet another unprovable problem.

Golly.

And not just one “money.” He wants to spend seven of them.

Coming from where he comes from… that’s a lot – certainly more than we can afford.

For investors, this is a no-brainer.

We’re just years away from our economy being governed by this invisible force. Money will be tied to carbon. Governments will control their people through the guise of climate-related efforts. And as usual, the folks who are oh so close to achieving middle-class success will be grabbed by the ankles and dragged backward to whence they came.

Mr. Kerry will be just fine, though. Don’t worry about him.

He gets paid to talk. His product is hot air… exactly the thing we’re all so worried about.

As for us, we don’t know much about it all. We don’t trust any of these folks’ words or any of their motives.

But we do know where there’s government money… oh boy… where there’s that much government money… there’s a big opportunity for the savvy investor.

Buy energy stocks – especially those anointed by the folks in D.C.

There are plenty.
